Here are the basics:
RA=Rite Aid
VV=Video Values
UPR= Up Rewards(Store rewards)
SCR= Single Check Rebate
Rite Aid has a store loyalty card known as a Wellness card. You can get it by signing at www5.riteaid.com/myriteaid/login?program=wellness , or in store. Also, on riteaid.adperk.com/ you will need to sign up for Video Values using your email address as well as signing up for Single Check Rebate.
Video Values
Video Values are store coupons that are earned when you watch monthly videos that are really just product commercials or demonstrations. These coupons can be stacked with manufacturers coupons. They are valid from 1-2 months from the month you watched them and printed them. The coupons will be stored in a queue if you don't want to print them immediately. They begin with RC49. Even though they say manufacturers coupons they are STORE coupons because they begin with the RC49. Some more notes about Video Values:
1. You watch 1 video and receive a coupon for watching the video.
2. You can use only one Video Value coupon per product, per month. You cannot print out multiple copies of these coupons, they will not work and will say previously used at the register.
3. You can use them along with one Manufacturer coupon per item.
4. You cannot use them with an in-ad Rite Aid coupon. (They both begin with numbers RC 149, which means the computer views them as the same sort of coupon)
5. These expire the month after you have watched them, and new videos come out every month.
UP Rewards
What is an UP? An UP is a reward you earn for buying an item as specified in the ad. Be sure to pay attention to quantities and sizes as specified in the ad in order for your UP to print!
Will coupons affect earning an UP? No. Using a coupon to purchase an item that will earn an UP will not affect the earning of the UP. You can use a coupon for your purchase and the UP will still print on your receipt!
Are UP's limited?
Yes. UP's earned for a particular item are limited according to the limit posted in the ad. All limits posted refer to the number of UP's printed, not the number of items. Limits are per wellness card.
There is no limit for the number of UP's that may be used towards payment in a transaction.
Can I earn more than 1 of the same +up in a single transaction?
Yes, you can earn up to the stated limit in the ad in single transaction. Example: Buy a Coke get $2+up limit 4. You can buy all 4 in a single transaction and get all 4 $2+ups.
A maximum of 20 UP's will print on one receipt. This does not refer to the value of the UP's, but the quantity of UP's.
What happens if my UP didn't print?
Stores cannot force UP's to print. If you believe you purchased the correct items to receive an UP, call RA corporate customer service.
Can I use an UP and still get an UP?
Yes. UP's can be used to "pay" for your transaction with the exception of tax. You can use an UP from one transaction to immediately pay for another transaction. UP's from one item can also be used to pay for another item - UP's will print again as long as you have not reached the limit for that item.
How do I use the UP? UP's can be used as a form of payment for your entire sub-total. UP's cannot be used to pay for tax. There are no rules regarding the number of items needed in your cart in order to use UP, nor a limit on the number of UP's you can use to pay for an item. Since UP's can be considered a form of payment, they can be used in conjunction with RA and manufacturer coupons.
What is a "special offer" UP?
RA will run varying promotions from time to time regarding opportunities to earn additional UP's. These promotions will vary and it's best to defer to each promotion for specific rules.
What do I do if I lose an UP, or have an expired UP?
RA is not able to reprint or track a missing/lost UP. RA does not honor expired UP's.
In-ad coupons can be found in the weekly sales flyer and may be stacked with Video Value coupons and manufacturers coupons. That's right you can stack three coupons and use your UPR.
Single Check Rebates are listed in a monthly rebate booklet that can be found right next to the weekly sales flyers . In it will be all of the items that are SCR eligible and any pertinent purchase dates. The SCR can be submitted one month after your purchase online or by mail. Again all details will be located in the monthly book.
Everything at Rite Aid is easy including the fact that you can roll the UPRs and you can purchase multiple items from the same manufacturer and earn the UPRs.

If you found the section about the Wellness points confusing, maybe this will help.
In order to get silver status you need 500 points and for gold you need 1000 points. Points can be obtained as follows: 25 points for each prescription filled at RA and a point for each "dollar spent" at RA. Now what does "dollar spent" mean? RA does not include any RA coupons (VVs, UPs, internet or in-ad Qs) or gift card purchases when determining how much you spent at RA. However, they do include manufacturer coupons.
Sometimes it may seem like your points don't move at all. That could be for several reasons: 1) RA is slow to update your points or 2) you are rolling your UPs and not "spending" any money that trip. I do not know how RA calculates any points if say you only spent pennies.
If you are at silver level then you will get either 10% off the shelf price or the sale price (whichever is a better price for you) and 20% if you are gold. There are times when the gold discount is better than the sale price. Once you hit silver or gold you will stay at that level for the remainder of the year (of course, you can go from silver to gold) but you will also start the next year on that level. Often times there will also be deals where you get a UP+ wyb that item. Meaning its not on sale but with gold or silver you save more and get an UP+. This can make milk cheaper for you as well!
There are lots of easy ways to hit silver or gold before the end of the year. You can fill your prescriptions there, "buy" items that are freebies after coupons. The best part about these deals is that they usually are not limited and you can get rainchecks. Another way to increase your points is to buy your bread or milk there. Also closer to Black Friday and Christmas Rite Aid tends to do deals were an item is free after SCR. So if you have the cash you can buy those items and earn points for gold!
